Since 2008, we have initiated a partnership program with Life Insurance Corporation of India. Under this program motivated rural BPL individuals for accidental policy coverage just for Rs 100/pm premium. In true sense, this is an experiment for the ‘BINDU’ to provide a kind of ‘security & support’ to the needy people, who cannot ‘afford’ higher amount of premium and plethora of formal instruction-paper work of insurance process.
Later since 2018, we have extended this and started providing Micro Insurance benefits to poor urban population with support of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
BINDU have covered more than 100 families under LIC Micro Insurance Schemes as on March 31, 2020.
